What is MCF?
MCF stands for Medium Color Furnace Blacks which are specially designed to impart excellent jetness, gloss to plastic polymer for electronics, home appliances & automobile applications
- Mean particle size 18 nm and less.
- Very high jetness, gloss and blue undertone.
- Very good UV stability.
- Typical loading in Polymer -30% for making MB.
- Since particle size is very low ≤18 nm, tint strength may not be always good indicator to judge colour strength, rather L value will give better idea of jetness. However, tint will be measured as a guiding parameter.
